I need to force computers to download updates from secondary site not primary site. This is causing 30 minutes bootup issue for most of client computers affected by SCCM startup script. So if SCCM is hung or still not installed after 30 minutes, the computer startup script will be killed which is forcing computers to again do the process of installation in next reboot and it will eventually killed again. As SCCM deployment restricts computer startup script running times to 30 minutes. As in morning all computers boots up around same time, it causes bottle-neck and it takes more than 30 minutes for each PC to download all updates. Our idea that each client will download update and setups from its own secondary site however it is downloading from Primary Site. Each Primary and Secondary site itself is a Management Point. We deployed a startup script to install Configuration Manager 2007 client on all client PCs. ![]() Each Server is servicing to around 50 - 100 clients computers. Each Primary Site Server linked with 40 Secondary Site Servers. In our network, we have a Central Site Server (SCCMCS1) and two Primary Site Servers (SCCMPSA & SCCM PSB). ![]()
